I really liked the Sir9 myself, but couldn't justify the $$$$$.
Jim & Gonzo- I will try Buckskin on this baby, but it will no doubt be painful. I have only ridden it a couple of times, once at Laurel Lake. It was perfect for that trail and I would imagine it would be perfect for Caney loop as well. I'm thinking it wouldn't be that bad for the Lakeview/Limestone/Sheltowee ride.
The rigid fork doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. It really makes the bike feel lighter, absolutely no loss of energy when standing and cranking or popping a wheelie over an obstacle. I won't say that its my full-time bike at this point, but it is a really fun bike.
Scott- I don't know how this ended up in the forums, I tried posting it in the bike pictures, but lost it once it was uploaded. I couldn't figure out where it went.

Dig the color. Can't wait to see you go up the 112 buckskin climb on it.
thats the first flight i've
thats the first flight i've seen. I like the color better than the root beer color of the regular monocog 29er and of course the componets too.
Cool.
Caney here you come.
Thanks!

Monocog Flight 29er
That's a sharp ride. The Redline chosen shade of green fuels some envy oooooooo. From what I see in the pic that's a nice parts spec too....
What was the cost of that bike????
