O'Bannon Woods is set to receive funding to convert a hiking trail into a trail for "serious hikers and mountain bikers."

In addition, 2 other mountain bike trail sites will also receive funding, Versailles- the trail will run along the base of a cliff wall near some unique sink hole features, and Harmonie.

That's great news and hopefully KY will one day follow IN's lead and provide additional funding for recreational trails.

All told, look for about 25 miles of new mtb trails in the near future.

O'Bannon woods is only about a 30 to 35 minute drive from Louisville.
