Does anyone else suffer from this and does riding make it worse? Mine seems to get worse the day after a long ride.
It keeps me awake most nights. You would think that after a 50+ mile ride that your legs couldn't possibly be restless but mine still drive me nuts. I've tried Requip(sp) but it doesn't seem to work. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks
As in Pain?
Do you mean they are sore and hurt or anxious to get going again? If its soreness try Endurox between 20-60 minutes after you stop riding.
No, it's kinda hard to
No, it's kinda hard to describe. It's like they are extremly tense and I have to constently move them or they jerk on their own. It only happens when I'm in bed and relaxed. Sometimes I just have to get up and walk. I thought that I was the only one who suffered from this but I have been seeing a bunch of ads on tv about it. Its called RLS (restless leg syndrome)
Hahaha.

Dang Scott! You make it sound like I'm dying. How long do I have?
Yeah, there doesn't seem
Yeah, there doesn't seem much to offer anyone with RLS except that new drug which I think you are on. I would have a thorough work up to make sure you don't have something else going on. I think they diagnose RLS when all other diagnoses are ruled out as there doesn't seem to be any definitive test.
Wikipedia has some good info as well as a Mayo Clinic link for the best treatment algorithm. Sorry I can't help further:

Thanks Chuck, you did help,
Thanks Chuck, you did help, I appreciate it.
Most Sports Require Only One Ball
Requip
I've been on this for well over 2 years. Works great. I fought with RLS since a teenager.
Sorry
I apologize if my initial comment offended anyone. I didn't bother to look up what Jim was talking about because I incorrectly *read* a little sarcasm in his post. Any such ailment can't be fun to deal with.
