"Bluegrass icon" Ralph Stanley headlines the free bluegrass music fest this Saturday (the 17th) at JMF.

Our Metro Council has decided to use your hard earned tax dollars to fund the fourth annual "Forest Fest" which includes a total of five bands, beginning at 11am.

Chances are that you may see one, or more, council members in attendance, which would be a good time to point out that mountain bikers once had access to the forest, and inquire as to when we'll get to ride the trails again.

The Fest is FREE and parking is only $1, and there's plenty of planned activities for the kiddies.
