Please support American Trails goal to have a trail within 15 minutes of every American home or workplace. Here in Louisville, our Metro Parks department has met the goal for our equestrian friends, as they have access to every major piece of parks property. Please contact your elected representatives and request that parks allow the common every-day working class family mountain bike access to our public, tax payer financed and supported trails!
Let's work together to reverse parks policies that got us booted out of Iroquois Park & Jefferson Memorial Forest, and parks lack of cooperation in submitting RTP grants to benefit both parties.

Dear Trail Enthusiast,
American Trails needs your help!
Trails are transforming the American way of life! American Trails promotes quality trails and greenways for all Americans. Our goal is a trail within 15 minutes of every American home or workplace. We work to enhance and protect America's network of interconnected trails - local, regional, and long-distance in urban, rural, and backcountry areas.
Make your voice heard! We advocate on your behalf - for more funding and for keeping trails open. As a free service, we host and provide access to the World's largest online resource for planning, building, managing, enhancing, and supporting trails and greenways at www.AmericanTrails.org. We connect you to state-of-the-art trails training and provide information about trails throughout the country. We are making a difference!
To meet ever-increasing needs and support and further these efforts, we must expand our services. With your help, we can increase funding for trails, keep more trails open, and improve the health and well-being of Americans of all ages and abilities. Please help us continue to serve you and the trails community by making a special year-end donation to American Trails today.
Thank you for your support!
Robert Searns, Chairman of the Board
