I participated for the inaugural Saturday event of the Red River Rally. IT was a perfect day in th mountains. The leaves on the Trees have to change but that was fine. I met some great folks and got to ride with Joe I beleive his last name is Bowen? He rode across the nation on his bike. He was one cool guy to ride with. We did the "Mountain route" as oppossed to the "flat" route. Had several steep long climbs. As he neared the top he would let out loud yell. PRetty cool. Had i done that my lungs would have exploded and the ride would have been over.
It is an awesome event. I could not do Sunday. Did anyone here do Sunday? I met and rode with some other great folks too. Ned from Bosnia, my helmit is off to you!!!
I hope to do Saturday next year with my wife and then the 65 miler on Sunday next year.
