This may not be the best place for this info, but it sort of fits in with events.
Last year I joined www.bikejournal.com and tracked every ride for the year. It is free, and you can set it up for your needs.
I track more information than needed, but will log in the: ride location, temp, conditions, mileage, average speed, time, loop, etc.
I had 99 rides (off road) last year covering 800 plus miles. I entered every race, training ride and fun run. I think it is the first time I really tracked the amount of time spent on my bike.
Check it out and start a log, there are features so you can see any listed races, or major rides by state.
Article?
I've heard about this site quite a few times. Would you be interested in writing an article for the site about your experience with them?
Article?
Sure I'll put some info together and post it.
The site has grown from 11-12,000 members to over 18,000 members in the last year.
The forum is mostly road based, but any style of bike is welcome.
I used this last year as
I used this last year as well. It is very nice and, for me, user friendly. I need user friendly.
Thanks for this link. I
Thanks for this link. I sighned up and put in last Saturdays ride. I'm going to try and keep up with it for the whole year. Thanks again!
Bike Journal
I also use bike journal and it is one of the best and simpliest sites that I've found. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to see how much time that he or she has spent on their bike. Like fa8tl said it has more options than anyone could ever dream of using and I enjoy the goal function. When you figure out what you want your goal to be it provides a graph to see if you're on track.
Love bikejournal
It helps me keep track of miles and rides. I'a at 622.50 miles since 1/1/07. I wish I could have ridden more but the weather hasn't exactly cooperated.
Bike journal
I couldn't agree more. I use it after every ride. I'm only at 70 miles so far though. The weather and class has kept me from getting out on my bike. I can't wait for some warm weather.
