The Otter Creek Challenge is coming to Otter Creek Park in Brandenburg, Kentucky, on September 22, 2007. What is the Otter Creek Challenge, you ask? Let me tell you. It's an 8-hour adventure race in which soloists and teams of 2, 3 or 4 will mountain bike, road bike, paddle, trek, rappel, and navigate their way through a series of checkpoints in an effort to be the first across the finish line, capturing the coveted "Golden Otter" trophy and the awe and admiration of their peers. Sounds like fun, eh?
But wait. There's more. For a mere $75 per racer, you get not only 8 hours of pedaling, paddling and tromping around Otter Creek Park, but a tasty pre-race meal served up by Louisville's own Cycler's Cafe, a fine wicking race shirt, fabulous maps, prizes, and more!
