We had a great group ride on the Pine Mountain Trail yesterday. Seventeen riders came out from Eastern Ky and South West Va. The weather was awesome and the trail was dry.
The ride was broken down into three groups. Male advanced, male beginner, and female. We had four males in the advanced group that rode the entire 21.34 miles of the trail. The male beginner group had nine riders and rode 12.78 miles. The female group had four riders and rode 9.46 miles.
There were only two wrecks and three flats.
Animal sightings include elk, deer, and one black bear.
After the ride we all meet at the Rusty Fork in downtown Elkhorn City to refuel and share ride experiences.
