A recent article in the Courier-Journal described a Guinness World Record attempt that went awry.
Seems like George Hood spent 85 hours on a stationary bike, but due to record keeping errors by volunteers, the old record of 82 will still stand.
Even though Mr. Hood didn't break the record, he did raise nearly $30,000 for charity!
While George is somewhat frustrated by the turn of events, he plans to hop back on the bike this summer and shoot for over 100 hours over 4 days. (100 minutes would be enough for me)
