I was thinking about hitting buckskin, but I'm not sure how well it drains. I've talked to John about it before, but I'm not sure how much rain we got last night. Any informed opinions are welcome. I don't really want to ride lakeview 3 times in two weeks, but I may have to. Maybe I could ride the fireroad on 799

Rod Buckskin drain great, almost as good as Lakeview. Go out and try it. Let us know haw many trees are down. I've got to get out there with a chainsaw.
I would ride with you but I'm meeting friends in Lexington tomorrow for a road ride.
Gonzo has a trail work day
Gonzo has a trail work day planned for lakeview and buskin in roughly 2-3 weeks. Let me know when you're headin out there and I'll definitely give you a hand. I don't have any tools so if you can bring a couple extra for me it woudl be great. I could just move the brush or something I don't care.
Looks like I won't be able
Looks like I won't be able to get out to Buckskin today. I'll head out there tomorrow after work. Hopefully it will be a little warmer and I'll give you a trail update.
Buckskin Route. I believe
Buckskin Route. I believe I'm going to ride Buckskin from Zilpo to the Sheltowee trace. Then I'm going to ride the Sheltowee to the road and take that back to the trail head. Any other routes better?
I finally got to ride
I finally got to ride Buckskin and Boonerider trees are everywhere, especially near the trailhead. There was basically a tree down every tenth of a mile and one that I barely could get around. Briars and the top of a pine tree make a good obstacle. Let me know whenever you want to get out there. I have a lot of stuff coming up, but if you get out there I would like to help. Finals are next week and I believe I'm going to take one final this Friday.

I might try to sneek out and cut some of the down trees out of Buckskin on Monday. I'll let everyone know how it's looking.
