should be perfect. I enjoy lbl in the spring and fall. Summer is hot and you just want to jump in the lake. Don't be afraid to call wood-n-wave (270-362-2453). Those guys will hook you up with trailhead info. Their shop is probably less than a mile away from the canal loop.

Do you or anybody out there know what the crowds will be like,tourist and mountain bikers.Would it be smart to make reservations for a campground.

I would make reservations, I was going to take the family down there this weekend and Lake barkley's lodge was completely sold out and KY Dam village only had a couple rooms available. And this was just a random crap rainy weekend. We didn't go and i'm glad I didn't waste the drive time and the gas but I'll be hitting it soon.

Land Between The Lakes
I bet that the LBL area will be seeing more than average people activity due to the lower water level at Lake Cumberland. People will see the LBL watering holes as being full and choose to go there instead....
