Monday it was 85 freakin degrees, this evening there was a blizzard. The ground is white outside!
I managed to stay motavited all winter, rode in some crappy weather but come on. After temps in the 80s I just can't make myself go back to freezing my family jewels off. Guess I'll just drink a beer. :-)

Yea it is definitely crazy weather. We were hit by a midlatitude cyclone with a very cold front. That's why we had all the severe weather. An extremely cold front collided with the 85 degree warm air. On the upside the crazy weather should be about over. The midlatitude cyclones retreat and leave us alone in the warm months, especially the summer.
What the hell happened?
Got some snow on the ground over here in Paintsville too. It felt crazy Thursday evening all threaded up out walking with stuff blooming but Friday and quarter sized snowflakes beat Thursday by a large margin!!!! Bring on the warmth, dry trails and knobbies....

Possibility for snow on Sunday
I was talking to someone last night and they said that there's a possibility of snow on Sunday. I tried to defend the weather before, but now I'm throwing in the towel. We need some warm weather to dry the trails up so we can go biking!

We had 50 to 60 mile-an-hour winds last night, along w/a brief, but heavy downpour, accompanied by small hail.
Will be interesting to see if this is a year for riding, or for waiting on the trails to dry out.
Hate to keep whining
But this weather suuuuucks!
I can't even manage to slip in a road ride. I rode over 300 miles in March, so for in April I have rode a whopping 44 miles. Sorry, I think I'm just suffering from withdrawl.

I know what you mean Boonerider. This weather is horrible. I hope it dries up soon so I can have a little fun and start training for the race in August.

What the hell happened?
For it to be April the 16th this is some crazy eastern Kentucky weather. I headed out a while ago to walk a loop in the valley here and I needed a toboggan, gloves and Carhartt jacket. Bring on spring in its proper form!!!!

You're right about the crazy weather. I took a field trip to the weather center in Jackson and this weather is driving them crazy. A meteorologist said, "I shouldn't have to be dealing with winter weather in April." Hopefully it will start warming up soon. Today looks like it has potential. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
