My wife and I will be riding the creeper trail on Good Friday, the 6th...We are taking the easy way with the shuttle from Abingdon to Whitetop...leaving the Creeper Trail Bike Shop at 9:30...I know she will be dragging on the last part, as she hasn't ridden much this year...
If you don't know about the creeper trail...
It is a rails to trails. It is around 35 miles one way on crushed cinder, then dirt for the last half...There are some singletrack trails off the main path, but the main path is just a nice long ride on a smooth wide trail. The only technical aspect is trying to pass the group of old ladies riding four wide at 7mph:) There is some nice scenery though...

Impossible is nothing
what?
are you talking about???
I'm glad
That I'm not the only on asking tha question
it's basically an
it's basically an anastrophe. an inversion of word order to generate a comparative relationship of meaning.
"people, impossible is nothing" from "nothing is impossible, people".
Or, maybe just mindless babble.
Yes;
I understand the Yoda analogy, but what does that have to do with the trail? I say mindless babble...lol

Creeper Trail
Hope you two have a nice time riding the Creeper Trail atvsmurf. Spring is such good time to be out just cranking along in the woods. I've only ridden on part of the Creeper Trail from Abingdon toward Damascus and back. That deal sure gets the walking and biking traffic....
Creeper Trail
Where exactly is this trail and would it be good to take the g/f on. It sounds like it.
Creeper Trail
Here ya' go Rod:

Did you go?
atvsmurf did you guys get to go ride the creeper?
nope...
We backed out due to the drop in temp. rolling 35 miles in 30 degree weather just didn't sound like a lot of fun, the second half wouldn't have been too bad, but the first half would have been cold, due to the incline and lack of exertion/pedaling... And Rod, it is a great trip for a girlfriend. My wife rode the entire thing our first time up there, and it was only the second time she had been on a bike since she was real little...We always use the creepertrail bikeshop in Abingdon for shuttle service. If she doesn't have a bike you can rent one pretty cheap too...
Creeper Trail
I went in the bike shop that is right by the trail there in Abingdon. That place had a huge bike rental and shuttle business going on. Atvsmurf, Is that the one you use for the shuttle and how much do they charge for the shuttle????
Creeper trail
I'll definitely have to ride that trail thiis summer. My girlfriend has been riding my bike around Morehead recently and I would like for us to ride together. I'll definitely look into it.
they just raised the price this year;
the last coupleof years they had charged $10 per person, but the $2 increase is nothing considering it is an hour and a half drive from Abingdon to Whitetop, and if you only want to ride from WHitetop to Damascus, they will pick you up and take you back to the shop for no extra charge...
That was it right off the end of the trail...
