The race director for the BURN 24 Hour Challenge will also be holding Georgia's first and only 100 mile mtb race in Dahlonega, GA (about 1 hr. northeast of Atlanta) on Aug. 17 & 18.
In addition to the 100 miler, plans are to offer a shorter distance as well. It's more than just a race, as the organizer's plan to make it a Gold Festival, w/lodging, hot meals, local microbrewries and possibly a live band.
Race fees- $50, 50 miles, $115, 100 miles.
Festival fees- $205, includes 50 mile entry fee, logding Friday & Sat. night, Sat. 3 meals, and Sunday breakfast; $250, 100 mile entry fee and the same as above.
