Former Tour de France champion Jan Ullrich has retired.
Ullrich has been plagued by ongoing investigations into his alleged role in a Spanish doping scandal.
The 33 year old German won the Tour in 1997 and had it not been for the emergence of Lance Armstrong, most likely would've won it several more times. (He finished 2nd to Lance 5 times!)
Maybe he could be the suspect the FBI is looking for in the recent spate of bank robberies (see post under News).
