While thumbing thru a book on bar-b-q I stumbled across the Tour de Pig, held annually in early October in Lexington, NC.
This year's event will be the 17th tour, w/rides from 15 to 100K.
Last years t-shirts featured, no big surprise here, a helmeted and jerseyed pig on a road bike.
There's a variety of events held in October, in addition to the tour, and according to the website, over 100,000 people visit.
Bar-b-q & cycling make an excellent mix!
