This might be old news for some but I just came across this :

Looks like good news for those in and around this area as well as climbers who also mountain bike. Check out the link above for more info and look for this in the trails section of Bike Kentucky soon. I'll be making some rounds this spring/summer to get up to date info on all the new trails.

the guys working on this were very dedicated. They where on kymba.org posting all the time and looking for help. They realised the potential to bond mtbers and climbers for the area. Then the coal company that owns the land decided to put a road in right where they where working on the trail. Not sure how much new freshly cut trail they lost but i know the guys where upset about it. I'm sure it dampend their spirits greatly. I haven't seen anything else about this since i heard about the coal company doing that to them. Didn't read the whole article but hopefully if its popping back up in the news things are better. I know the organizers of the climbers coalition/mtbers unite group where going to have a sit down with the coal company.
